Quran Way works without an account and does not collect personal data.

This Privacy Policy applies to Quran Way, a Quran player and Quran video app developed by Toplish, on Android, iOS, the web (quranway.eu) and every other platform where it is offered.

Information we collect
Quran Way does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or device identifiers, and it does not build a profile of how you use the app.
When the app downloads content from the internet, the server providing it necessarily receives the standard technical information that is part of any internet request, such as your IP address and the time of the request. The app does not attach any identifier that could link these requests to you.
Data stored on your device
To work properly, the app saves the following on your device only:
- Your preferences, such as the selected reciter, translation, font, colours, theme and playback settings, and the last ayah you listened to.
- Recitations and videos kept for offline use, and a temporary cache of recently played content.
- Videos you create with the export feature.
This data is never uploaded to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings, uninstalling the app or, on the web, clearing this site's data in your browser.
Content services
To play recitations, the app requests Quran audio, text, translations, word timings and videos from third-party content providers (Islamic Network, AlQuran Cloud and Quran.com) and from our own media storage hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, these servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the content. The app sends no personal information or identifiers with these requests, and we do not receive or combine this data.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: to stream and download recitations and videos, and to switch to offline content when you are not connected.
- Notifications and background playback: to show playback controls and keep the recitation playing when the screen is off or the app is in the background.
The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo library.
Sharing and exports
Videos you create with the export feature are made on your device. They are shared only when you choose to share them, using your device's standard share sheet, and only with the apps or people you select.
Children
Quran Way is suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
All content is downloaded over encrypted HTTPS connections. Since no personal data is collected or stored on our servers, we hold no personal data that could be exposed.
Your rights
Under data-protection laws such as the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you. As we hold no personal data from the app, there is normally nothing for us to provide or delete, but you are welcome to contact us with any request or question.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how data is handled, for example by adding optional analytics, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page before that version is released.
